Set in a microcosm of exclusivity, Sun Island Spa's wellness methodology and interior design are guided ancient Chinese philosophy of balance and equilibrium. The spa has the one and only hot spring in Shanghai, which contains abundant micro-elements and mineral substances such as metasilicic acid and calcium that promote health.

Already well-known to possess marvellous therapeutic results, the effects of the hot spring is further put to good use by being channeled through our specially researched Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments and services.

Guest will find much-needed rest and relaxation here at Sun Island Spa. We offer a full range of massages and body treatments to rejuvenate the mind and body. Spa Etiquette

SPA ETIQUETTE

To ensure a quality spa experience, please reserve your treatment in advance.
Please do not consume any alcohol before your treatment. If you do consume alcohol, please have a rest for at least 30 minutes before using Spa facilities.
If you have any medical condition or special requirement, be sure to mention it when you book an appointment.
Ideally arrive 15-30 minutes before your treatment.
Every appointment will be on hold for a maximum of 15 minutes.
If you cannot make it on time for your spa appointment, please notify the Spa at least 30 minutes in advance. For group bookings, a 4-hour advance notice is required for cancellations. Otherwise 50% of the spa treatments will be charged accordingly.
Please keep your voice low and help to preserve the Spa’s serene ambience for all the guests.
Switch off or turn phones to the silent mode before entering the Spa.
Please wear your swimming cap before entering the pools.
Avoid eating in the treatment rooms. You may enjoy snacks and beverages at the Spa's Cafe or take a rest at the Spa Lounge after the treatment.
